Was Brutus an honorable man?

In my opinion Brutus was not an honorable man because:

1. He killed his friend

2. He joined the conspiracy

3.When Brutus killed Caesar Caesar was appalled that one of his friends would do that to him

I don't know about you but I don't think that's very honorable.
