On the fourth of July me and my family go to the Bees baseball game. it has been a tradition of ours for a long time.

On New Years Eve me and my family throw this BIG party with all the food you could imagine. Then at midnight we go outside with all these party noise makers and try to wake people up yelling Happy New Year. one time we were living in Salt Lake and we were living in these apartments, well one time we actually did wake people up, we woke up one of my best friends and her family. It was really funny.

And on Christmas we try to go see the lights on Temple Square. They are so pretty. We especially try to go when they are turned on for the first time.

If I had to choose a leader to follow out of Brutus, Cassius or Mark Antony I would probably choose Mark Antony. Because he stopped the whole conspiracy. And he told the people that Brutus and Cassius were wrong about Ceaser, that he wasn't what Brutus and Cassius were making him out to be.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving I am going out of town. I'm going to Park City. (well I guess it isn't really "out of town") But anyway I get to go to my grandparents house. (dads side) And it is pretty big. I absolutely love their kitchen it is amazing. Anyway my whole family is going to be there and my cousins, they are always fun to play with. And I also might sleep over at my grandparents house with my cousin Chantal. Its going to be so much fun. There is nothing more that I like than to hang out with family.

Def: Control of government by a gang, often of violent criminals.
Can any good come of it?
Probably not. Because in the definition it tells you that the government is often owned by violent criminals and I don't think that is a very good thing. So no, No good could come of mob rule.

Coming to Utah!!!!

My old neighbors (The Hobbs) are coming to Utah. It is going to be so exciting. They are coming because Eli's grandma past away so they are coming for the funeral. And they are staying for two weeks. I am so happy because their bringing their kids. And I would play with Kelby sometimes. But not as often as she wanted me to. So I would feel bad when I couldn't play with her. But anyway I'm just excited they are coming.

1. He killed his friend

2. He joined the conspiracy

3.When Brutus killed Caesar Caesar was appalled that one of his friends would do that to him

Why America's Veterans should be Honored

We have so many freedoms in this country. I'm going to name a few: Freedom to choose who sets our laws, freedom to receive a good education, and freedom to worship how and where we choose.

Why do we have these freedoms?

We have men and women who have served in our armed forces. They have earned the title Veteran.

What is a veteran?

To me a veteran is someone who sacrifices their lives everyday for our freedom. A veteran is someone who leaves their families for months sometimes a year or more to stand up for what they believe in. A veteran is someone who does whatever it takes to protect and defend our way of life. A veteran is someone who distinguishes themselves by their willingness to risk their life for the freedoms we cherish. A veteran is selfless, putting country ahead of their own life. Veterans have seen things that you and I couldn't even imagine. The traumatic effects could last for several years. I know such a veteran. My grandfather served in the Vietnam War. I have been told stories of when my grandfather would wake up in cold sweats long after his service had ended. My grandfather came home with jungle rot, and was exposed to Agent Orange.

I have had great-grandfathers and uncles serve in other conflicts. They have starred danger in the face, but were courageous and served valiantly.

Many veterans have given the ultimate sacrifice for the country they love and believe in.

Where would this country be without people who are willing to put on the uniform and make the sacrifices that are necessary to insure that we maintain the freedoms that so many long to have? I for one am grateful for all that has been sacrificed by veterans on my behalf.

So you ask, why should America s Veterans be honored?

I say why shouldn't they be!

The Election

When I heard that Barrack Obama had won the election. I was furious. Especially because I knew some of his plans. Although I didn't really want John McCain to win either, but at least hes better than obama. (No offense to the people who like him) I really wanted Mitt Romney to win the election and I really wish that he hadn't dropped out of the race. But I'm really glad that Hilary Clinton didn't stay that long. (Again no offense to the people who like her) But at least we are all trying to get our food storage and we are all on Gods side.

Things I like to do for Fun

Some of the things I like to do for fun are: Hang out with my friends, Go to the gas station and buy things, Go to the movies, Have late nighters with my friends, Go to my grandparents house, Hang out with my cousins, Go to the mountains, Go to the Mall, Play Football,Baseball and basketball, But most of all I just like having family get together's and hanging out with my family, Preferably at their house. but normally I just love to see them and hang out with them.

Books

I love books and to read. Reading is one of my favorite things to do. I love to read adventure books, romantic books, mysteries, history. You name it any book you could think of I'll probably be reading it. I love going to the library. I could spend hours in there. I have my own mini library in my room and have read those books over and over again

Superstition

What is superstition? Superstition is a belief or notion not based on knowledge.
How does it affect your life? It can play a huge role in your life, because, say you had the fear of stepping on a crack and breaking your moms back. Well if you believed that then, every time you would walk down the street you would be walking all funny and people would look at you like your some sort of weirdo. Or if you had the superstition that black cats bring you seven years of bad luck. Then you may never want a cat.

Why I dont like Halloween

I don't like Halloween that much because of all the evil that is coming out of it. And all of the creepy stuff that they are selling in the stores and gross/gory stuff. Halloween is just a big nothing now a days. Its not fun anymore, like it used to be. It used to be all about fun and dressing up as something or someone and going Trick-or- Treating now its all about horror and mean stuff.
The only thing that I still like about Halloween is the fact that you get to dress up and go Trick-or-Treating.

George Washington

George Washington was a great man because of his faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ,. his courage , determination and bravery. George Washington showed faith when he knew not what to do at Valley Forge when his men were starving and freezing. He showed bravery and courage when he fought in all of his battles and wars because he fought for what he believed in.


I can be more like George Washington by having faith in the lord so he can help guide my life like he did George Washington's.

Favorite Movies: The Kid, We are Marshall, Remember the Titans, Pride and Prejudice, The Notebook (even though I haven't seen it all the way through), Pirates of the Caribbean, Mrs. Doubtfire and the Harry Potter series.

Favorite foods: Pizza,Linguine with clam sauce, Burritos and Tacos

Favorite T.V. shows: Little House on the Prairie, Friends,(some episodes) and The Cosby Show.

Favorite stores to shop at in the mall: Famous Footwear, Sephora, Playdoughs closet ( Its a store outside the mall but they have the greatest clothes for girls, boys, teens and adults)and basically the whole mall.

MOUNTAINS......... again

Okay, so when I went to the mountains I had so much fun. We went hiking and we ate lunch/dinner up there. I don't know if any of you have heard of Donut Falls but that's where I went. Its just up big Cottonwood Canyon a ways. But anyway as we were hiking There was this river, ) oh by the way Donut Falls got its name because at the top of the mountain there is a river where the water runs down and there is a donut shaped rock thingy where the water runs down and just under that is a cave where you can see the water running down through the donut but anyway that's how it got its name Donut Falls) and as we were hiking up that river to get to the top i was about to stand on some moss and just right before i stepped on it, my mom started to say " Be careful honey the moss is slippery" but it was to late my body just slipped and there i went, i was down just laying there screaming my head of, holding onto a piece of a rock, for dear life. My mom hurried and made sure i wasn't in any danger and then she just laughed and pulled me up. And I fell again in the exact same spot. Any way I had a grand time up there. all of you who haven't been GO! its way fun

Mountains

I love the mountains so much that I could live up there. And it doesn't really matter what mountains just as long as there here in Utah. I am so excited because I get get to go to the mountains this Saturday! Because it is my aunt Corees birthday. Well her birthday is actually this Friday but we are celebrating it on Saturday. and she is a truck driver, (you know those huge ones that you see on the road yeah she drives those) and so we don't get to see her a lot so that's why I'm super duper excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

Music

I know everyone likes to listen to music. I especially do.If I'm not listening to music then I'm reading if I'm not reading then I'm hanging out with friends. But mostly I'm listening to my music. I have one cd player, one mp3 player, and one boom box/radio thingy. I have so much music on my mp3 player you wouldn't believe it. I like to listen to all kinds of music like country, pop, rock, hard rock, some soul singers, classical and stuff like that. ( But all of that stuff has to be clean or I wont listen to it.)

I am so excited because I am finally getting a cell phone. And I know that all the teachers are going to want me to leave it at home so I will you never see it at school. I know all of you might not be excited but I know I am. And thats okay if your not excited. But I've always wanted a cell phone and now I finally have the money for one!

I have two pets a dog and a cat. And your probably thinking how does she handle that. Well they actually get along pretty well. their names are Rum Tum Tugger(cat) and Chester(dog). Chester will be a year in October and Tugger will be two in December. They are the cutest pets you have ever seen although chester is a bit excited and rambunctious. Tugger is a pretty mellow cat, except when he's playing, thats when he gets all bitty and scratchy. Same with chester he gets wild and crazy when you play with him. But other than that they are pretty nice animals!

Guess what other holiday is coming up...... Thanksgiving! That is probably my favorite holiday of the year. Well besides Christmas, Valentines Day, Halloween. Okay I guess I don't have a favorite holiday I like them all in a different way. I like Thanksgiving because of the air change, the colors of the leaves, jumping in the piles of leaves, the food , the traditions, and last but not least the smells I just wait all year for the smells of the candles, the food and just the smell of fall. One of the traditions me, my mom, and my mammy have is going to Gardener Village in West Jordan and going to Witches night out. Its where you get to dress up as a witch and play games and just have fun being a witch. that is what I really look forward to in the fall.

Who's excited for Halloween? ME!!!! I am way excited for Halloween. Because we go everywhere. We go to Salt Lake ( to visit family), we go to all these trunk-or-treats, we go to Spanish fork ( because we have friends that live up there), and we especially go trick-or-treating. We try going to every house that we pass by. Because there is this dentist in Layton who he will buy your candy. Yeah I know awesome huh. Well it also has to do with how much your candy weighs, so he will pay you two or three dollars a pound. awesome I know.

Who likes Football? Anybody? Well I can sure tell you that me and my family are HUGE football fans. We watch football practically every day that its on T.V. My mom and brother Skye, are huge Redskins Fans and Me, Kaden (my other brother) and my dad are huge Dallas Cowboys Fans. Especially my dad. He goes bazerco when the Cowboys are playing. If you really want to watch something thats on T.V. and football is on then you can forget watching it. Because when football is on nothing else is on. But he's not selfish he just loves football so much that he has to watch it.

I went babysitting yesterday for nine and a half hours. It was sooo much fun.The people I babysat for was the Paul's. There really nice people. There three kids are adorable, Kendra Kylee and Trayden. they are the funnest kids to babysit.I was there all afternoon almost. We went on walks, we went to the park,we ordered pizza, all that fun stuff. I wasn't babysitting kylee for very long because she had a birthday party to go to. But I still babysat her, for like three hours or something like that. I hope I get called again!!!

Yesterday I went to the mountains for the polar star kickoff. It was way fun. I met a lot of nice people who I think I am going to be really good friends with. We went tubing down a reallly rocky but really fun river, that took about five to ten minutes to finish. Oh and there was this deep part in the river, but we werent allowed to go there of course, that we had to stop at right well there was this tube that I saw that was going down the river around the deep part so I couldnt go get it, but I would have if I couldve. I just feel bad for that person who lost their tube. Anyway that kickoff was a really fun one.

Hi, My name Lakota Garcia. Today I got my very fist violin. How I got interested in the violin is I just heard it on T.V. and movies and plays and stuff like that. I just went to Idaho this last weekend it was awesome. If you haven't been go if you have then awesome id love to hear about what you did there. I absolutely love going to Idaho, because the drive up there is so pretty and in Idaho its so pretty too. I go there kind've a lot because My Aunt Cindy lives there and we just love going to her house. Its really fun to go to Idaho. And for those of you who have never been there you would like it there. I promise.
